CURRICULUM VITAE
Past Employment Experience
Having worked in multiple companies has taught me different things about how they operate and communicate. Although my current work experience has not branched out of a particular role, I would not trade my time under their employment as I have learnt so much through them over the years.
DIGITAL MARKETING ASSISTANT - TRAFFORD ELECTRICAL WHOLESALERS
October 2020 - Present
This being my first digital marketing role has taught me too many things to list off. Learning and applying my knowledge of an industry I initially had little understanding of, to achieve an increase in engagement and retention with our customers.
CUSTOMER ASSISTANT - MARKS AND SPENCER
October 2019 - January 2020
Engaging with customers, enhancing their experience at the store and ensuring they leave the store satisfied, as per the company’s ideals. I also gained store management insight; seeing how professionals operate and ensure key tasks are carried out on schedule. Finally, keeping updated on the latest promotions and deals in-store, to upsell and facilitate customers.
CUSTOMER ASSISTANT - VUE CINEMAS
December 2017 - April 2018
Familiarising myself with the products and services we provide to upsell and reach/surpass weekly target sales. Collaborating with co-workers and managers to keep up store appearances and maintain a fresh supply of stock, ready to sell in high demand. Effort spent in naturalising myself with current movies, to boost my ability in answering customers’ queries.
CREW MEMBER - MCDONALD'S
January 2015 - January 2016
Working under constant pressure as the hours were long and busy, it taught me to be efficient and on-top of my tasks and multi-manage stations at times. Also managing a large crowd of customers made me develop my communication skills to ensure customers got their orders correct and on time, with no hassle.
MULTICULTURAL FUNDRAISING
September 2015
During the summer of 2015, I took park in NCS (National Citizen Service). Working and socialising with my team and others, and our team organised and ran a fundraiser, promoting a multicultural understanding within the local community. The event was planned in 4 weeks and all donations went to charities such as Henry Allen Trust and, Hope for Hollie.
